What is the Land Use Element?
Consistent with state law, the Land Use Element provides guidance regarding the ultimate pattern of development for Newport Beach at build-out. As such, it is based on and correlates the policies from all elements into a set of coherent development policies, which serve as the central organizing element for the General Plan as a whole.
